Master Sergeant Le enlisted and shipped to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC in July 2006. Upon completion of Recruit Training and Marine Combat Training, Private Le attended and completed the Communication Signals Collection Processing Course in Pensacola, FL and the Manual Morse Code Course in Sierra Vista, AZ.
Having earned the 2621 Military Occupation Specialty (MOS), he reported to Company B, Marine Cryptologic Support Battalion (MCSB), Fort Meade, MD in August 2007. While stationed in Maryland, he served as an Analyst and Operations Chief for the Marine Cryptologic Support Element providing national to tactical level intelligence to Marines deployed worldwide in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. During this tour he attained the rank of Sergeant, received his Adjunct Faculty from the National Cryptologic School and attended Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA.
In April 2011, Sergeant Le reported to 3D Radio Bn, Marine Corps Base Hawaii to serve as a Team Leader for a SIGINT Support Team and deployed to the Philippines from December 2011 to June 2012. Upon returning, he served as an Analyst within the Battalion Operations Control and Analysis Center (OCAC). In May 2013, Staff Sergeant Le deployed back to the Philippines to serve the Senior Analyst and Collection Manager until December 2013. After returning from deployment, Staff Sergeant Le served as the OCAC Platoon Sergeant untill his departure in 2015.
Staff Sergeant Le checked into the Marine Detachment – Dam Neck, Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS) in Virginia Beach, VA. Here he served as an Instructor, Course Chief, and Curriculum Developer for the Signals Intelligence Officer Course that produced the 0206 MOS and an Instructor for the Tactical Intelligence Officer Course. While stationed in Virginia, he was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant, served in collateral duties such as the MCIS Career Planner overseeing seven different detachments, and as a Security Manager for the Detachment.
In December 2018, Gunnery Sergeant Le reported to Recruiting Station Phoenix, AZ. Here he served as a Canvassing Recruiter, and then as a Recruiting Substation Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge responsible for over 2000 square miles. Upon his promotion to Master Sergeant, he served a Military Entrance Processing Station Liaison for the Recruiting Station.
After his tour on Recruiting duty, Master Sergeant Le checked in to the Recruit Screening Office, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, CA and served as the Intelligence Screener for the Western Recruiting Region. Here he managed and supported the Intelligence Accession Programs for the Deputy Commandant for Information and the Presidential Support Detail for the 8th & I Marines, Washington D.C.
In July 2024, Master Sergeant Le checked in to Company H, MCSB where he currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Advisor.
Master Sergeant Le’s civilian education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies from the American Military University (2020). His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. He enjoys hiking, sporting events, sports memorabilia, recreational shooting, and spending time with his family.
